This is a beautiful buckle. Engraved pewter with an oval Confederate battle flag.
The rear of the buckle has each state of the Confederate States listed and the date they legally and by the will of the people of each individual state left their former union of states. Also the poem "The Confederacy" which is inscribed on the Monument to the dead of the Confederate Army Arlington National Cemetery.
