How long does it take to get my flag?
We consider a flag ordered only after we receive a check
with the order in the mail. Chris makes the flags in the order in
which they are received with payment. When we receive your order
it is placed on the list with flags already ordered. If the number
of existing orders is small then you will receive your order
quicker. If the number of existing orders is long then it will
take longer for you to receive your flag. Chris tries to keep up
so that there is not a large back log. She doesn't rush because
she wants each flag to be done properly. Most orders are normally
filled within 30 days. Sometimes it takes longer due to a backlog
of orders. You can contact us by email to check on your order

What type of fabric do I use?
are 100% cotton fabric. It is a very strong weave which is color fast
(colors do not run when wet). The fabric is washed before it is
cut and made into a flag. The hoist (that part nearest the staff)
is sturdy cotton canvas.
Components are sewn, not printed on the fabric. The fabric used
allows the flag to fly easily in the wind.
How are the flags made?
Chris cuts each piece of cloth herself. Every single piece of the
flag is sewn. Not a single piece is printed, painted or
embroidered. The hoist is made of cotton canvas and has sewn
eyelets (think round button holes - this is period 1860s) to attach the
flag to a staff. If you want a sleeve to slip over a staff then you must
request this and tell us the diameter of the staff you will use.
This information must be included with your order. You must
request brass grommets if you want these. There is no extra charge
for a sleeve or brass grommets.
Can you furnish your own fabric?
is impractical for us to use fabric supplied by anyone else. We
cannot guarantee the quality of such fabric and therefore cannot
guarantee the quality of the flag. Therefore we cannot make a flag
with fabric supplied by a customer.
What method of shipping do I use?
ship by USPS Priority Mail Insured. If you wish it shipped by UPS
then add an additional $20 to your order.
What does it cost to ship my flag?

want it shipped by UPS. If you want UPS then add an additional $20
to your order.
